30mm角の楓材のみを用いて設計した椅子とテーブルのダイニングセット。切り欠きをつくらず直交部材を交差させるだけで組む。椅子の座面をやや低くし、奥行きの寸法に余裕をもたせるによって、背もたれが直角でもゆったりとした座り心地となるように設計。
A dining table and chairs set designed using only 30mm x 30mm maple timber.
Frames of the furniture are assembled simply by crossing the maple wood members at a right angle, without cutting any notches into the wood.
The seat height is slightly low with generous depth for comfortable seating, counteracting the back rest’s perpendicular angle to the seating surface.
