丸の内ビルディング内のテイクアウト専門のベーカリーの計画である。リニューアルされた地下のフードゾーン「マルチカ」エリアの共用通路と駅の連絡通路に挟まれた角地に面しており、連絡通路から店舗区画を通り抜けて共用通路へと横切ることができる平面計画とした。床には共用部の通路と同じタイルを使用し、店舗区画内に対して共用部の通路を拡張させることで区画の境界が曖昧になるようにし、通りの人々を自然と引きこもうとした。
This project involves the design of a takeaway-only bakery within the Marunouchi Building. The site is located at a corner between the shared walkway of the newly renovated underground food zone “Maru-chika” and the connecting passage to the station. The layout allows people to pass through the store space from the connecting passage to the shared walkway. The floor tiles used in the store are identical to those in the shared walkway, creating a sense of continuity and blurring the boundary between the store and the public space. This design aims to naturally draw people in from the bustling walkway.

ひとつながりの土窯のような什器
2つの通路に沿って流れるように配置した什器を、土窯のように左官で仕上げた。構造は鉄骨と木をハイブリッドさせることで、形態の自由度とスパンを両立させた。鉄骨がアーチを支える背骨の役割となり、曲線で加工した木板をワッフル上に組むことで肋状の骨組みを構成した。
その上に金属のラス網と左官材を重ねて塗り、滑らかなサーフェスを成形した。
Seamlessly Connected Clay Oven-Like Counter
A single counter, resembling a clay oven, flows seamlessly along the two pathways and is finished with plasterwork. The structure combines steel and wood, achieving both design flexibility and structural span. The steel acts as a spine supporting the arches, while curved wooden panels are assembled into a waffle-like ribbed frame. Over this framework, metal lath and plaster materials are layered to form a smooth surface.
それぞれの素材特性を複合させることで、生物のように軽やかさと強さを両立する什器である。カウンター・棚・出入口が連続する、ひとつながりの土窯のような什器が、人々が行き交う通路沿いに象徴的に存在し、人々を迎え入れ、記憶に残る場になることを期待している。
By integrating the distinct characteristics of each material, the counter achieves both lightness and strength, reminiscent of a living organism. This single, flowing counter—spanning the register, shelves, and entrances—symbolically stretches along the pathways where people come and go. Like a clay oven, this design element welcomes visitors, leaving a lasting impression and creating a memorable space.
